Misunderstanding
« on: October 31, 2013, 11:58:19 PM »
I went into a shop today to buy a Dracula outfit.
The girl there tried to sell me a Liverpool shirt.
I said "I think you have misunderstood me, I said I wanted to look like a count"

Looks like Lemontree is another misguided poster ON THIS FORUM with a hang-up about
people from the GREAT CITY OF LIVERPOOL.

Nice one Chicco, however the correct grammar is 'Field', with a capital 'F' (being one of the following: person, place or thing). I'll tell them all in Liverpool anyway, they will be pleased to find somebody from outside the City boundary is taking an intelligent interest. 8)

The word you are searching for is proper noun.

I didn't need to search for that word, I thought I'd put it in simple text but thank's anyway.

A noun and a verb were dating but they split up because the noun was too possessive ???

In future ALL jokes posted here must be submitted to Peter- K. BEFORE POSTING to make sure they are not going to make people from Liverpool feel persecuted or paranoid again.

Don't rise to it Peter I'm with you. .People from Liverpool are on the whole very kind. When visiting a shopping centre with daughter and two babies and a toddler we called into Sayers for lunch . The toddler was ill and was sick all over the table ,himself and floor. The staff took off his snow suit washed it and hung it to dry in front of the ovens and cleaned him up .In any other place we would have been shown the door.I have lots more instances to relate, could write a book and I'm not a Scouser ,I'm a Wooleyback and proud.

I love people from Liverpool & have many good friends from there, they are all supposed to have this a great sense of humour & some of the best comedians past & present have come from there. So why is it when you post a joke about Liverpool on here they all come on & get annoyed that we dare to tell a joke about Liverpool, it seems a bit ironic really ! ???
